The great poet T S Eliot once said “April was the cruelest month…” but in today’s world, April is a time of thankfulness and celebration.
April is also a month of celebration: Easter is when people remember the resurrection of Jesus; and April 10 is National Siblings Day and we give thanks for having a brother or sister.
April is the month of rebirth and growth: spring flowers decorate the earth with bursts of vibrant colour and loveliness; April 22 is Earth Day; April 24 is Arbor day when we are encouraged to plant new trees; April 25 is World Penguin Day; and Apri 30 is the Adopt a shelter pet day when we can give a caring home to a beloved new pet.
April is a wonderful time to recharge after the long winter months. It is a month of hope and renewal. Go out and bask in the warm sunshine to celebrate the month of life!
